Get an LTL freight quote in minutes, not days.

Enter full pickup and delivery street addresses, your pallet or piece count, the size of one of them, and the weight. Standard LTL, same-day and final mile lanes price live from our engine; complex lanes go straight to a dispatcher. No account setup required.

Complex freight is often easier to price in a five-minute call than in a form. Call dispatch and describe the lane.

How the number is built

What an LTL freight quote actually prices

A freight quote is not a flat rate per mile. It prices the space your freight takes on a trailer, the lane it travels, and what the two ends of the trip require. The quote engine works from four inputs:

  • Size drives the price: LTL is priced on density, so give the count — pallets or pieces — and the length, width and height of one of them. An oversized piece is counted as the pallet spaces it really takes, and a quote without dimensions comes back as an estimate at a standard pallet size.
  • Weight and dimensions decide the truck the shipment needs and, on LTL lanes, its freight class.
  • Origin and destination set the lane: Southern California moves on our own trucks, longer lanes through vetted partner carriers, on one order record.
  • Liftgate, appointment and inside placement are priced into the quote when you tick them, so the number you see already includes them.

What we need to price accurately

Both come from the same form. Within Southern California the engine prices a same-day or final mile run on our own trucks; for lanes leaving the region it prices nationwide LTL through our partner carrier network. The service level is shown on the quote.

Full pickup and delivery street addresses, destination type, total weight, pallet or piece count, the size of one piece, required service level, and any accessorials such as liftgate, inside delivery or appointment scheduling.

Yes, and they are priced into the quote you see. Tick liftgate for whichever end has no dock, and choose Residential as the destination type so the appointment and access planning are included.

LTL prices the share of the trailer your freight uses — driven by pallet count, weight and freight class — plus accessorials at each end. Full truckload prices the whole trailer for the lane regardless of how much of it you fill. As a rule of thumb, LTL suits shipments of a few pallets; larger loads are worth pricing as a full truckload as well.

Standard lanes price instantly from our engine. Lanes that need a human look, multi-lane programs and dedicated route proposals come back from dispatch, typically within one business hour.

Yes. Residential heavy delivery is a core service, including appointment scheduling, delivery windows, access planning, heavy item handling and photo proof of delivery.

We prefer it. Start with your most difficult lane or a defined set of shipments, agree service levels and reporting, then expand once performance is proven.
